Terms of Service

TowDrop Trailer Rentals ("TowDrop", "we", "us", "our") operates a trailer rental business serving the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky area. By using our website, booking a trailer, or renting equipment from us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to rent a trailer.
- A valid driver's license is required for all rentals.
- Your tow vehicle must have a properly rated hitch and electrical connection for the trailer you are renting.
2. Reservations & Payment
- Reservations are made through our website or by phone at (513) 555-1234.
- Full rental charges and the security deposit are due at the time of booking.
- We accept credit and debit cards. No cash payments.
- Reservations are confirmed via email and text message.
- You may cancel a reservation at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a one-day rental fee.
3. Pricing
- Rental rates are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice.
- Daily rate covers a 24-hour rental period.
- Weekend rate covers Friday through Sunday (3 days).
- Weekly rate covers 7 consecutive days.
- Late returns are charged at the daily rate for each additional day or partial day.
4. Security Hold
- A 50% hold of the rental price is authorized on your card at the time of booking.
- The hold is released within 48 hours of the trailer being inspected upon return.
- The hold may be captured (partially or fully) for damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing equipment, or excessive cleaning required.
5. Delivery
- We deliver trailers to your location within the Greater Cincinnati area including Northern Kentucky, and pick them up when you're done.
- Delivery is available during business hours: Mon–Fri 7AM–6PM, Sat 8AM–4PM, Sun by appointment.
- You are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible for our truck and trailer.
6. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the trailer from the time of delivery until it is collected by TowDrop.
- You must use the trailer in a safe and legal manner.
- You must not exceed the trailer's rated weight capacity (GVWR).
- You must properly secure all loads during transport.
- You may not sublease, lend, or allow unauthorized persons to use the trailer.
- The trailer must be returned in the same condition it was received, minus normal wear.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use TowDrop trailers for:
- Hauling hazardous materials, explosives, or illegal substances
- Any illegal activity
- Off-road use beyond reasonable job site access
- Commercial for-hire hauling (using our trailer to run your own rental business)
- Towing behind a vehicle not rated for the trailer weight
8. Damage & Liability
- We photo-document every trailer before and after each rental.
- You are responsible for any damage to the trailer during your rental period, beyond normal wear and tear.
- Damage costs will be deducted from your security deposit. If damage exceeds the deposit amount, you are responsible for the balance.
- You are liable for any third-party claims, injuries, or property damage arising from your use of the trailer.
9. Insurance
- TowDrop carries liability insurance on all trailers.
- We recommend renters carry their own auto/trailer insurance. Your personal auto insurance may or may not cover a rented trailer — check with your provider.
- TowDrop is not responsible for damage to your vehicle, your cargo, or any third-party property.
10. Limitation of Liability
TowDrop's total liability to you is limited to the rental fees you paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to lost profits, project delays, or cargo damage.
11. Modifications
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hamilton County, Ohio.
